Then tag 7 other people to see what they’re listening to. -----  Hillsong United - You Reign This one is a real slow builder of a worship track.  I usually like the faster, anthematic tracks the most but this one is all about the lyric.  I like that it tell the Easter story but not from a negative view - often I think writers concentrate on the cross instead of the resurrection, but this ones chorus is all about the now. The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Dreaming - Club 8 Summer bottled up and put in a song.  Karolina Komstedt's vocals are brilliant, wistful and light.  It's a beautiful album, it just kind of drifts through but it's all really upbeat. I feel It All - Feist The Reminder - being an entirely great album for the second year in a row.  It was difficult to choose which track as they're all pretty good.  Beautiful Jesus - Kristian Stanfill The second worship song on the list.  Really well written, Kristian has just surfaced for most people on the last two Passion records but he has a real gift for writing and puts so much enthusiasm into his songs. Tchaikovsky Romance op 38 #6 - Anna Netrebko The Florentine Song.  I love it. It's most worrying when you find yourself wandering around the place trying to sing a song in a language where your words are limited to the most basic greetings.  It's got an exceptional melody and feels very bright and summery.  No One - Alicia Keys I actually don't have this song yet, but I really love it.  Her best yet, I think. Braille - Regina Spektor The lyrics are, expectedly, a little odd and rather sad, but it's beautifully put together, it's quite stripped down mainly just a vocal and piano. Unfortunately I could only find cover versions on youTube. -----  It's possibly quite telling that so few of these are new songs but I don't think 2008 has been that much to write home about with regards new songs yet. Also Tagging...  I think I'm meant to tag seven people but I'm not sure if I can think of seven off hand so I'll throw it open for everyone who reads...

Tug By Artmeliana... Arty wanted to see our desktops, this is mine as I type. I prefer it to be as uncluttered as possible, as I never really understood the point of shortcuts, when it's only one click extra to get my programs out of the start menu. My desktop has two permanent features, the recycle bin and a shortcut to the folder where all my work is, then any files that I am using several times a day for work sit there too, until I archive them at the end of the week... I pass on the show us your desktop challenge to any and all who read this.

Pinched from Tan... Ok, so I haven't done any random surveys for a while, so here we go with 37 truths: -Today Did You- 1. Talk to someone you like? Yes, but only via messaging. 2. Learn anything new? No, but I got a better understanding on things I thought I knew, but now know I know.  You see, there are three types of known, but I'm not going to go into that as I'll sound like Donald Rumsfeld. 3. Talk to an ex? No, oddly enough. 4. Miss someone? Not really. -Last Person Who- 5. Layed in your bed? My bed and I are monogomous, I know sometimes it might like some other company, but, I'd feel betrayed if it was keeping other people cosy and warm behind my back. 6. Made you cry? Hmm, things that make me cry are God (in a good way) and the heartless way Children in the developing world are left to die when people could so easily save them.  I don't think I can blame the children for the tears tho. 7. Went to the movies with you? It's been forever since I went to the flicks, I can't remember who I went with last. 8. Went to the mall with you? Everyone, all of my close friends, yesterday. 9. You showered with? Friday night, walking home From Nero, there was a shower, there was only me, a couple of town hall staff and a gothy yet oddly amusing girl there to enjoy it though. 10. Who Made you laugh? There was this conversation with S.  It involved Sean Connery accents and such.  I have to shay, I am eashily amushed. 11. Said they loved you? Do jokes count? No? Why not damn it.  I wrote someone a story, about a gladiatorial fight to the death tv show based on Ainsley's ready steady cook.  They said they loved me.  I don't blame them, I killed off Delia, had Ramsay concussed in sea of split peas grasping a root vegtable, and Nigella appealing to Emperor Ainsley for mercy. -General stuff- 16. Favorite location? Does it need to be a place out of my bed?  Locally, my favourite place to relax alone is the cafe in the sage, but it's a bit quiet if you're with folks, so to chill with friends Starbucks. 17. Tattoos? Nope. 18. What are you most scared of right now? Nothing.  Right at this moment, I am fearless.  Ask me later tho and there'll probably be something. 19. Where do you want to get married? Wherever the most beautiful woman I have ever met wants us to be married.  I figure she's crazy enough to say yes to me, she should at least get to pick the venuw. 20. Who do you like? Lots of people.  Even people I'm nasty too habitually, I still like 'em, it's just endearing nastiness 21. Does anyone like you right now? Yes, or they're all very good liars. 22. Do you like being around people? Yes, if they're people I like.  If not, No.  I don't like those situations when you're with people you don't really wanna spend time with and grasping for small talk.  I am the worst person EVER at small talk.  I need to work on that. 23. Sure.  Today thousands of African children will die from or be orphaned by AIDS, because the west's governments and corporations are to greedy to spare the loose change it would take to save their lives.  Children die for the want of a few pennies.  The money I will leave on my side table because I don't wanna ruin my jeans, would be enough to keep someone alive today, the money you'll leave in the tip pot at starbucks, could could keep someone a live. Why the hell isn't anyone making it so you and I can save their lives, if the governments and companies aren't going too. If that doesn't make you want to cry on some level, I'm positive you are dead inside. 24. Are you lonely right now? No 25. Song stuck in your head right now? Snow Patrol - You're all I have 26. (She's now a very pretty lawyer, I saw her on a website the other day talking about Law degrees and I died seven times over inside) 29.
