A sign and common things
N and I were having a drink in a country pub the other night. I had a soft drink as I was driving, so did she as she's not a big drinker.
We were discussing alcoholics and that and she said something along the lines of there's no need to go out just to get drunk, anything is fine as it's about having good company to be there with.
Must be a sign she likes me, right? I'm not going to push anything, just go with the flow. She was spot on though.
We do seem to have a lot in common though. Both of us like eating out and visiting pubs (soft drinks are fine, as above). We are both easy going. She even doesn't like thing like nightclubs and roller coasters, same here. Plus many other things which I can't be bothered going into (don't need a full list here!).
A nice meal, followed by a film or whatever (whatever as we're both easy going of course lol), is the perfect evening.
Of course we both have our differences, own hobbies, likes and dislikes, that sort of thing.
So far it's nice, see how it goes

Improvement
It's been a while since I last posted here.
Things have been getting fairly good recently, very weird, a bit like it's somebody else's life and I'm in the wrong body.
Been catching up with old friends which is nice enough. But on top of that I've been seeing a lot of one particular girl. Although we're not an item as such, it may head that way, may not, time will tell. She's very nice and as quiet as I am (apparently she also is not as quiet when she opens up, also like me).
Either way, I think I've found a good friend in her. Spent a lot of time together over the last few days and it feels so comfortable. Took her out properly last night too (meal and film) and she enjoyed it. So here's looking forward.
It's about time some nice things happened. Hope this is a sign of things to come.
