Multiple Eargasms?!

A couple of new purchases

Armand Van Helden - Ghettoblaster (HMV exclusive free DVD) £9.95

I've always been a big fan of the American DJ / Producer come Ali G look a like as Professional Widow was one of the first tunes I every DJ'd with. His music is always just a little step a head of whats about at the moment and from a couple of listens to this CD his on form again.

Stand out tracks being NYC Beat, I want your soul, which I'm expecting will be massive this summer. The CD needs a few more listens but there's some top tunes on hear if it does all sound a little late 80's early 90's electro but not in too bad away.

To top it off the bonus DV comes with 7 muisc videos 2 from this CD the rest from his last one. If you wanna check them out go have a look on youtube. The "Hear My Name" video is spankingly good.

Groove Armada - Soundboy Rock (Ltd Ed CD 2 bonus tracks) £12.99

If you've heard there new tune "Get Down" you'll know that these guys are back on form after a rather smashing Best of.. finally some new tunes. And it's a bit of a mixed bag, I've only had a quick listen through but I'll let you know the real gems soon.

But I'm sure it won't stop playing it until long after they've played 'ull's Freedom Rocks gig in June.

Tears are now flowing...

I've been hearing rumors for the past couple of months about a tragic event that has occured in music.

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=%22beautiful+south+split%22&meta=

It's true.

I'm sure it'll mean that they sell loads of cds but what a sad day.

On the upside it may mean more Biscuit Boy cds and I know that Dave Rotheray has his own band.

I know know what my ex from long ago felt when Take That split but we all know how that ended up.

Does anyone have the support line number?

I've been paid and bought...

The Best of Massive Attack Ltd CD with special CD/DVD. £16.99 Virgin Megastore

I'm a hugh fan but only have the first two CD so I thoughed I'd better get this and it's superb comes with a rather strange double sided disc. One sides a DVD of the videos which is top and the other side is a bonus CD. Sadly the bonus side has a scratch on it so I need to return it.

The Best of Blur DVD £9.99

I love Blur it reminds me of being a teenager but in a good way not all that silly teen angst crap. 22 music videos for under a teener is a bargain. I can't wait to stick End of the Century on my PSP. Parklife still rules and my god does Damon have some silly mop tops.

Blur - End of the Century

She says there's ants in the carpet
Dirty little monsters
Eating all the morsels
Picking up the rubbish
Give her effervescence
She needs a little sparkle
Good morning TV
You're looking so healthy

CHORUS:
We all say, don't want to be alone
We wear the same clothes cos we feel the same
And kiss with dry lips when we say goodnight
End of a century
Oh, it's nothing special

Sex on the TV
Everybody's at it
And the mind gets dirty
As you get closer to thirty
He gives her a cuddle
Glowing in a huddle
Good night TV
You're all made up
And you're looking like me

CHORUS

Can you eat her?
Yes, you can.

REPEAT CHORUS TWICE

Oh, end of a century
Oh, it's nothing special

I'm turning into an Indie kid again...

I was well into Idie in the 90's when I was at school and college but kinda fell out of favour with it and started to DJ with House but after Fridays night out I'm completely in love with certain bands music at the moment. Including Bloc Party, The Strokes, Editors, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys can anyone recommend any others I should be listening to?
